Setting:

This book takes place about 10 years after the original Unwanteds series, and follows the journey of Thisbe and Fifer Stowe, the twin sisters of Aaron and Alex Stowe. It is told in third person, and takes place in Artímé and the Land of the Dragons. This book is a fantasy-adventure novel.

Plot:

Thisbe and Fifer Stowe want to become mages. But their older brother, and head mage of Artímé, Alex Stowe refuses to let them. He does not want to teach them more magic, for they already have uncontrollable powers. Thisbe can point at things and say “Boom”, and they explode. Fifer has a scream that breaks glass, and summon a flock of birds. When a dragon comes from a faraway land, and needs help, Thisbe and Fifer seize the opportunity. Together they, and their friend Seth Holiday, journey on the dragon over the end of the world. But as they arrive, they find out it will not be as easy as it sounded. Once Alex figures out, he sends Simber, a flying stone cheetah, Carina Holiday, Seth’s mom, and Thatcher, a Warblean male to go rescue them. But when Fifer and Thisbe both end up in danger, will both make it back to Artímé?

Recommendation:

This book was good, but I liked the first series better. The characters in the first series were funnier, and there was more finding new lands, as opposed to slaying dragons. This book was not my favorite, because there was not a lot of action. So overall, it was okay, but the originals were better.
