Setting:
This book is a fantasy-adventure, and is told in third person. It follows the story of Thisbe and Fifer Stowe, two twin girls. This book takes place after the events of The Unwanteds Quests: Dragon Captives.
Plot:
At the end of The Unwanteds Quests: Dragon Captives, the Stowe girls have been separated. Thisbe has been captured the Revinir and is forced to work, carrying dragon bones back and forth, all day long. Soon she sees the effects of the broth that is being made, and is forced to try it. Fifer is back in Artímé, but is desperate to return to the Land of the Dragons to rescue her twin. So, she, and Crow, a Warblean boy about her age set off. Alex follows her with a crack team of statues, creatures and mages catch up with her, and rescue Thisbe. But will this risk pay off, or result in causalities?
Recommendation:
This book was good, but as I said in my last post, not as good as the originals. It was a okay story, with a dramatic twist at the end. There is a weird part were as I mention earlier that they make broth from dragon bones, but they make it from human bones. I liked how they used some of the characters from the original crack squad of Artíméans from The Unwanteds.
