Setting:
This book takes place in the worlds of Land of Stories, Earth, Oz, Sherlock Forest, Neverland, Wonderland, and Camelot. It is a Fantasy/Adventure novel, the adventure being a quest. The two main characters are Alex and Connor Bailey, two twins. This book takes place after the events of The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning
Plot:
This book starts with the Bailey twins and their friends on the search for the Masked Man, who is supposedly Alex and Connor’s dad. When the hunt goes out of control, the Fairy Council ungodmothers Alex, which causes Alex to be surrounded by a wall of fire, and disappear. Alex is reconnected with Mother Goose, and the hunt for the Masked Man continues. But when Alex sees a memory of her grandmothers, it turns out the Masked Man is the Bailey twin’s uncle! He is traveling into books using a potion the late Fairy Godmother made, and not just any books. The Masked Man is traveling into books from the Otherworld! Alex and Connor gather their friends, and set off. Traveling book through book, the Bailey twins gather new friends, and must leave old ones. But when Alex and Connor are separated, will they escape their book prisons?
Recommendation:
This book is AMAZING!! I loved the part with traveling into multiple worlds, and seeing all the famous characters was so great. Probably my favorite of these characters is Robin Hood, but in my opinion, Connor will always be the best. The story is fantastic, because I always love a good quest. So, read this book!! (Book 5 and 6 are also really good.)
